Day 01: Cusco, Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu:
- According to your choice of train departure time, Transfer from your Hotel in Cusco to the train station. Included.
- Travel by train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes town (2 hours). Included, (you could choose the itinerary of train to go to Machu Picchu since 6:00 am until 21:00 pm, departs from Ollantaytambo).
- This day you can visit the Machupicchu butterfly garden, the Mandor Falls or take a bath in the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes town on your own
- Hotel Stay in Aguas Calientes. Included.
According to your choice of train departure time, Transfer from your Hotel in Cusco to the train station, where you will board the train to go Aguas Calientes Town (altitude 2350 masl), the travel time from Cusco to Ollantaytambo is 2 hours and from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes town is 2 hours approximately.
The hotel staff, will be waiting for you in Aguas Calientes train station to transfer you to your hotel.
This day you could visit the Machupicchu butterfly garden, the Mandor Falls or take a bath in the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes town on your own.
Overnight at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 02: Machu Picchu Tour and Optional: Climb to Huaynapicchu or Machu Picchu Mountain and Return to Cusco:
- Breakfast at the hotel. Included.
- Climb in a tourist bus to Machu Picchu. Included.
- Entrance to Machupicchu Included.
- Optional: Climb to Huaynapicchu or Machupicchu Mountain (3 hours approximatelly ). The entrance ticket and guide is not included for this. US$ 65 dollars
- Travel by bus From Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes. Included
- In the afternoon travel by train from Aguas calientes town to Cusco. Included.
- Transfer from the train station to your hotel. Included.
An excellent opportunity to get up early to take the tour to Machupicchu. After your breakfast at the hotel, you will take the bus from Aguas Calientes Town to Machu Picchu (altitude of 2450 meters above sea level, approximately a 25 minutes ride). You will have your guided tour of about 2 hours, being able to visit: the Main Square, the circular tower, the Sacred Solar clock, the Royal Room, the Temple of the three Windows, and the Cemeteries.
In the afternoon you will have to board the train to Cusco. Once you arrive to one of these Train stations our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your Hotel in Cusco.
The advantage of this tour is that you can get to know Machu Picchu without many people and with much more time available.
